Butler, Pennsylvania – A year after the assassin’s near-disappearance attempt to the president Donald Trumpmany people who witnessed the shooting said they remained very dissatisfied with the official investigation, and they believed it failed to provide meaningful answers.
R-Pa. “I’m very unhappy with the lack of preparation,” said Rep. Dan Meuser, who told Fox News Digital that “failure is almost incredible,” echoing the outcome of avoidable lapses by law enforcement, a view that is broadly stated.
Despite investigations by multiple federal agencies and formal congressional investigations, local residents and lawmakers said they still want to know what went wrong.
“The task force is bipartisan. Frankly, I don’t think they got all the answers today,” Moser said.

Shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks was killed by law enforcement officers at the scene. Since then, the Secret Service has carried out a series of high-profile restructurings.
Congressional Election Committee Found in the report “There is a lack of planning and coordination between the Secret Service and its law enforcement partners,” adding that the agency had been alerted for more than 10 minutes of suspicious actions before firing the shot.
But for those who are there, there are still major problems:
What was Crooks’ motivation? Why not agents stationed on the pitching roof nearby? Why doesn’t Crooks’ existence above the AGR building act early? How did he fire eight rounds before being neutralized by the Secret Service’s anti-robot?
Without specific answers, some participants came to their own speculative conclusions.
“Some stock transactions happened in advance,” one rally participant said.
“CNN never airs Trump’s rally. Why do they air this rally?” another question. (CNN said it was a butler rally aired in a situation where Trump announced his vice presidential draft pick.)

“The investigation that has been completed is very uncertain,” said Erin Autenreith, a Republican activist and rally attendee from Grenshaw, Pennsylvania. “There are a lot of technology now-there are videos with such high resolution that they can actually see bullets.”
“The American people, they don’t trust the investigation,” she added. “No one believes it. So I don’t think it’s good.”
Butler County Republican chairman Jim Hulings criticized Pennsylvania officials for their indifference to the case. He picked out Republican district attorneys and state attorney generals.
Secret Service Changes The Agency Has Been Trump’s Assassination Attempt
“The murder has never been investigated,” Hollins said. “We asked the district attorney to call on the grand jury. He wouldn’t do that. We gave him a letter and 8,000 petitions signatures. He still wouldn’t do that.”
“Agriculture doesn’t really care,” Hollins added. “We got Dave Sunday elected and he went to the nongrata.”
It was believed that, given the impact of its country, the investigation should be elevated to the federal level.
But long-term rally participants reached a consensus on one thing: it was obvious from the day of Butler last year.

“All the other gatherings I’ve been to, there’s Secret Service everywhere, so I just thought they’d be there. They’re not,” Lucie Roth said.
“There are no visible counter-sniper teams. No drones. No helicopters.” “There are very few police.”
Many factors have been accused of: technical problems of drones, high temperatures have prompted the Secret Service to seek asylum in air conditioners, a unit that has been scattered for a long time and has unexpectedly worked overtime.

A Senate report found that critical resource requirements were denied, not even raised: The Secret Service did not ask the surveillance team to help patrol the rally of 15,000 attendees, while First Lady Jill Biden’s event was about an hour away from her 400 people.
Until more comprehensive photos appear, those who live on that painful day say they won’t stop liability — not only for Trump, but for Comperatore and a shaky community that is still seeking closure.
