Jordan Love throws 292 yards and two touchdowns, and the Green Bay Packers beats Commander of Washington Thursday 27-18 pm.

Tucker Kraft scored six passes in a career-high 124 yards to help the Packers score 2-0 for the first time since 2020. Love and Kraft connected an eight-yard touchdown with 8:57 left to stop the Commander’s comeback attempt.

Love scored 19 of 19 out of 31, leading the Packers offensive, which was not injured by linemen Zach Tom and Aaron Banks. Another touchdown pass from Love was the five-yard Romeo Doubs in the first quarter.

Washington (1-1) scored only 11 yards in the first quarter and reached two touchdowns in the final stage before reaching the finish line. It could be an expensive game for the Commander as he ran back to Austin Ekeler’s right follow-up tendon in the fourth quarter, while defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr was eliminated in the second phase due to a quadriceps injury.

Jayden Daniels had 24 yards in 42 yards, touchdown passes for 20 yards, and Zach Ertz and Deebo Samuel had 10 yards.

Since 1988, the Packers have won their last seven home matches against Washington, but have not beaten Green Bay on the way. Washington’s final victory at Lambofield was a 16-7 decision in 1986.

Green Bay took a 14-3 lead in the midfield by combining two touchdown drives with more than 90 yards.

Doubs blocked seven touchdowns, 96-yard drives, including Kraft’s 57-yard finish, plus 14-yard Love’s battle for the third and nine games in Washington’s 19.

Josh Jacobs scored a 14-0 run with a two-yard touchdown run, completing 10 games, a 92-yard parade and completing it with 37 yards to Malik Heath, who did a great job of grabbing two feet off the court in Washington, maintaining a two-foot entry. Jacobs finished with 84 yards in 23 carrys.

Washington scored 23 yards in the first three series before entering the board with a 51-yard shot from Matt Gay, who later missed a 58-yard and 52-yard kick.

Washington cut 17-10 with a 13:45 touchdown capture rate at Ertz after Brandon McManus’ 22-yard goal scored 17-3 in the third quarter. But the Packers reached the finish zone in the next series, with McManus adding 56 yards to the goal later in the fourth quarter. Samuel has 2:53 left on the touchdown.
