Vice President JD Vance walks beside the coffin Charlie Kirk On Thursday night, marking the beginning of a series of solemn tributes to the conservative figures.

Kirk’s coffin is accompanied by military pallbearer details on the apron in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Kirk’s coffin will travel on Air Force II to return him to his hometown of Arizona. A video of the moment shows his wife Erika Frantzve clearly felt emotional as the coffin passed by in front of her.

What does Kirk’s assassination mean to Trump’s safety

After arriving in Phoenix, Frantzve took the hand of his second wife, Usha Vance, and shed the Air Force. His coffin was transported to the Hansen Memorial Church. Kirk will be buried in Arizona, and President Donald Trump says he will attend the funeral.

Trump told reporters Thursday night that he believed Kirk’s funeral would be held next weekend, adding that he would attend.

As federal authorities continue to search for suspects who were assassinated at an outdoor event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday afternoon.

Wednesday’s event, which was supposed to be the first event in the series Turning point United States “America’s Journey to Come Back” is nothing special. Kirk is the charming founder of the country’s conservative youth activist group, recognized for his signature political debate on university campuses.

In a press conference Thursday, authorities said the suspect “integrated with university institutions.” In the photos released by law enforcement later, the man was seen wearing a hat, sunglasses and an American flag T-shirt with an eagle.
