Illinois Government JB Pritzkera Democrat condemned the political violence following the death of a conservative activist Charlie Kirk on Wednesday, despite the governor’s argument that President Donald Trump often triggered political violence.

“I just said it had to stop, and I think there were people in this country who were inciting it,” he continued. “I think the president’s rhetoric often caused people to influence. We’ve seen the thugs on January 6 clearly tripped over the new era of political violence and the president, what did he do? He pardoned them. I mean, what kind of signal is this, what kind of signal does this send to people who want to commit political violence? Not a good person.”

The governor mentioned an incident in June in which Vance Boelter was charged with murdering former Minnesota Speaker Melissa Hortman, Democrat, her husband Mark and their dog at home in Minneapolis.

Bailey added: “That’s not a leader – it’s coward. The leader Illinois deserves takes responsibility, defends freedom of speech, and stands up for the right thing. Unfortunately, JB Pritzker has shown time and time again that he’s not doing his mission.”
