Police said at least four people were killed and 14 others were injured in a driving shooting outside a Chicago nightclub.
Chicago police said a dark car drove past the club on Wednesday at 23:00 local time (04:00 GMT) when the gunmen inside opened fire at a group of people outside.
According to CBS News, the crowd was said to have left the nightclub after releasing the album Mello Buckzz for rapper Mello Buckzz.
Police said the vehicle fled the scene immediately and no one was detained.
The victims of the shooting were taken to several hospitals in different regions. Police said two men, 24 and 25, and two women, 26 and 27, were pronounced dead.
At least four people were reportedly taken to the hospital to be crucial to serious conditions. The victim’s identity has not been released.
Witness Donovan Price said there were “absolutely chaotic” scenes unlike what he had seen before.
“From screaming to the blood on the street to the people lying on the street… horror,” he told Reuters.
“It’s something you won’t find in the city. We have a lot of shootings, but there aren’t any such shootings.”
After the incident, rapper Mello Buckzz said all she could do was “talk and pray with God.”
“Pray for all my sisters God, please surround every weapon of them,” she said in a statement on social media.
“It feels like everything is pressing on me,” she added.
