Tyrrell Hatton reveals his thriving European qualifications Ryder Cup The team involved him waking up in the pool of vomiting in the Indianapolis hotel room.

Hatton’s drinking session accompanied by European team member Jon Rahm involved wine, gin and cocktails. “I was anxious to make the room a little acceptable before leaving,” Hatton said. “I ended up getting out of bed, leaving some cash and a note and said, ‘I’m really sorry, I’m sick in bed at night, please throw it in the trash.'”

Hatton’s media conference and PGA Championship at Wentworth took an incredible turn after being asked how happy he was being made by the Ryder Cup without the need for a captain’s pick.

This situation is complicated by the British’s turn to Liv’s turn. Hatton joined Ram last month at the end of Lef’s parking in Indiana. European captain Luke Donald called Hatton to inform him of his qualifications.

“When I got back to the room, I fell sideways on the bed, facing that position,” Hatton said. “I woke myself up and threw myself in that position. Then, I fell asleep, and when I woke up, I put my arms on my arms, both sides, all off my shirt.

“I got out of bed, walked to the bathroom and looked in the mirror, and my bearded face was sick. I didn’t know how I set up an alarm to fly in a few hours.

“I think if you see the room we just drank, you’re like, ‘What are you doing?’ but it’s fun in the end.

The 33-year-old ignored the old adage of not mixing drinks. “I had six glasses of wine at dinner,” he said. “Then I had a double gin and tonic and the drunk speed was very normal. Then Jon decided what he wanted, he said [Italian liqueur] Disaronno Sours and I were thinking, “Perfect, then go ahead.” They fell down easily. Then I started the ode, basically asking someone to put it down, so every cocktail that followed was a shot.

“And we used up Disaronno. The guy at the bar made some hazelnut acid, which wasn’t great, and there were a few. Then there was a margarita and then there was a strawberry vodka. God, it was aggressive. It was horrible.”

All this raises the question of what might happen to Hatton if Europe retains the Ryder Cup at Bert Patch this month. “I think we’ll celebrate well and there’s a good chance I’ll throw it away,” he added. “Hopefully I don’t like falling asleep and I can enjoy the night with everyone.”

Bob MacIntyre joined Hatton in the first and second rounds of Wentworth, which brought the couple to the Bethpage partner.

Hatton followed what seemed to be European intentional information, as he refused to consider over-roaring New York fans affecting the prospects of the Ryder Cup.

“I haven’t experienced it yet, so I can’t comment on it,” Hatton said. “I want to think they’ll still respect and we’ll go from there.”
