Kamala Harris call Joe Biden Decided to seek a “reckless” decision in her new memoir in 2024 and question the former president’s judgment, while revealing her own frustration about being marginalized within the administration.

In published paragraphs Wednesday Atlantic Ocean From 107 days on her memoir documenting her presidential campaign, Harris stood out from her usual faithful public stance.

She wrote about how her feelings were eliminated in the White House, and her chief of staff put her name on “dei Hire” to stop her from standing at the event “like a potted plant” and the government failed to defend her from being attacked by Fox News.

She wrote: “Biden decided to run for the second term, “is it grace or reckless?” Looking back, I think this is reckless. The bet is too high. This is not a choice that should be left to an individual. A person’s ambition is his personal ambition. It was supposed to be a personal decision. ”

Harris said that, like the vice president, she felt trapped in an impossible position: unable to defend Biden without his own interests.

“I’m at the worst position of everyone in the White House to get him out,” she wrote. “I know it would be incredibly selfish if I advised him not to run.”

Harris portrayed the White House as Biden’s decision, writing: “It’s Joe and Jill’s decision.” We both say, like a spell, as if we were all hypnotized. ”

The excerpt reveals Harris’ frustration with the marginalization of the system within the administration. In one example, she wrote that her chief of staff, Lorraine Pores, “continuously advocate for my role in the event: ‘She won’t stand there like a potted plant. Give her two minutes of speech. Introduction to the president.”””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””

Harris added: “When Fox News attacked everything from my laughter to my voice, my 20s date, or claiming that I was “dei hire,” the White House rarely had my true resume: two terms were elected to DA, in the second largest judiciary in the U.S., and in the second largest judiciary, representing the Justice Department of Eight Americans.”

Harris wrote: Despite the White House having a “sized communications team” and daily press conferences, “it’s almost impossible to make my remarks about my work or any defense against untrue attacks.”

She recounted Biden’s Oval Office speech, announcing him to withdraw from the competition: “Before he mentioned me, he had been in the address of 11 minutes.”

However, Harris did defend Biden’s mental capacity during his presidency, which was attributed to age-related fatigue rather than cognitive decline.

“Many people want to elaborate on the White House’s narrative of Joe Biden’s weakness. This is the fact that I live,” she wrote. “Joe Biden is a smart man with long-term experience and deep faith to be able to perform the duties of the president.

“On his worst day, he was more knowledgeable, more capable of exercising judgment and doing his best than Donald Trump. “That was when his age tripped up physically and verbally. ”

She suggested Biden’s poor performance in the debate was related to his schedule. “I don’t think the debate collapse The debate collapse happened after two back-to-back trips and Hollywood fundraisers flying to the West Coast is surprising.”

Harris added: “I don’t believe it is lost.

The memoir will be published on September 23, and Harris announced a book tour involving 15 cities, including stops in the UK and Canada.
