She continued: “They have to get a bunch of celebrities who will offer for most of the year. That’s about three to four months, so it just needs to work out on their schedule. There are actually a lot of pairs of practical partnerships. One big one is height, personality.”
Initially, the show withheld the star’s identity from their dance companions.
“So when a professional gets a call it usually means ‘Hey, we have a partner for you,'” Braley said. “But even if they get a call, they don’t tell them who their celebrity is. Because like I mentioned before, it’s really the showbiz. Like, everything changes.”
“For Brandon and I think most celebrities, as long as they have a partner they want to be around, they don’t care who they care about. It’s really like a family, a team. Obviously, they’ll love a partner that can get them into the ending – because who doesn’t want to win the mirror ball?”
Brylee is very satisfied with Brandon’s newcomer DWTS companion, Jauregui, 29, called it “amazing”. The dull Cuban American singer-songwriter career began as a member of the pop band Fifth Harmony, then soloed on a new album in 2026.
