His security guards said former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani was injured in a car accident in New Hampshire, USA.
Giuliani’s car hits at high speed while traveling on the highway, according to a statement posted on social media.
“He was diagnosed with a thoracic fracture, multiple tears and contusions, and injuries to his left arm and lower leg,” a statement from security guard Michael Ragusa said.
Giuliani, 81, was called the “Mayor of the United States” after leading New York on 9/11. Later, he became a consultant to Donald Trump and then a private lawyer, although the two have since split ways.
Ragusa said Giuliani was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
His statement added that the incident happened shortly after Giuliani helped the victims of alleged domestic violence, and he announced him on the road.
“Mayor Giuliani immediately provided assistance and contacted 911.”
