Trump uses pocket-short withdrawal power to withdraw $5 billion in foreign aid

Trump is using pocket evacuation to withdraw funds. Unlike the typical request for revocation, Congress can sign approved funds within 45 days, because the bag revocation avoids Congress because it is so close that the legislative branch cannot take corresponding action.

Funds in the cuts include approximately $520 million in donations to international organization accounts, more than $390 million in donations to international peacekeeping activities accounts, $322 million in Democracy Fund, $445 million from peacekeeping operations accounts, and more than $3 billion in development assistance.

Meanwhile, lawmakers on both sides of the aisle were not satisfied with Trump’s decision to raise funds.

“Any effort to withdraw funds without Congressional approval is a clear violation of the law,” said R-Maine’s Senate Appropriations Chairman Susan Collins, Chairman of R-Maine in a statement Friday.

South Korea Summit

The death penalty in Washington?

Trump revealed he plans to sentence death to those convicted of murder in Washington as he continues to commit crimes in the national capital.

“If someone kills someone in the capital Washington, D.C., we’re going to seek the death penalty,” Trump told reporters at a cabinet meeting on Tuesday. “It’s a very powerful precaution. Everyone who hears it is consistent. I don’t know if we’re ready to be ready in this country, but we have. … We have no choice.”

The Supreme Court was in Furmanv in 1972. Georgia ruled that the death penalty violated the Eighth Amendment provisions and prohibited cruel and unusual punishments. In addition, according to the nonprofit Death Penalty Information Center, the District of Columbia Council officially revoked the death penalty in 1981.

It is unclear how the White House intends to initiate the work, nor does it provide any other details immediately. The White House digitized Fox News back to Trump’s comments at a cabinet meeting.

But Trump signed an executive order in January titled “Restore the death penalty and protect public safety.” The order directs the Attorney General to “sent to death for all serious sexual offences required to use”.

“The death penalty is an important tool to stop and punish those who will commit the most heinous crimes and deadly violence against American citizens,” the order said. “Before, during and after the founding of the United States, our cities, states and states have relied on the death penalty as the ultimate deterrent and the only appropriate punishment for the worst crimes.”

Trump weighs on cookie barrel

Late Tuesday, Cracker Barrel announced that it had listened to customers and that the new logo is “disappearing” and that the logo that has been around since 1977 will remain.

The White House seems to be praised for igniting the change, with White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt posting a screenshot on X “8 hours ago…” in response to Cracker Barrel’s update on the recovery of the previous logo.

“Congratulations to ‘Cracker Barrel’ for changing the logo to be as is. All fans are very grateful for it.”
