“There are a lot of people out there who are going through what I’m going through and dealing with what I’m going through,” Sanders said. “Let’s stop being ashamed of it, let’s deal with it, let’s face it straight.”
He added: “Check out. Because if not, it would have been a whole ‘rally’.”
The 2025 football season marks Sanders as the head coach without a son Shedeur and Hilo On the roster. All three came to Colorado in 2022 after three seasons at Jackson State.
Shedeur, 23, was drafted by Cleveland Browns in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft and is currently the team’s third-string quarterback.
Shilo, 25, signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in April but was cut by the team earlier this month after a dispute in the preseason.
