“I cannot serve in an environment where CDC is viewed as a tool that generates policies and materials that do not reflect scientific reality and are designed to harm rather than improve public health,” he wrote.

“I hope the CDC continues to succeed in its important mission and hope that HHS will turn around its dangerous process to eliminate public health as a practice and institution.
