Several officials reportedly resigned from the CDC

Longtime government scientist Susan Monarez refused to leave her position at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) after refusing to leave the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) after announcing her position as sworn in less than a month ago.
Attorneys Mark Zaid and Abbe Lowell said they represent Monarez and claimed she “had neither resigned nor fired.”
The lawyers made a statement on social media claiming that HHS and secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
“When Susan Monarez, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), rejected unscientific, reckless instructions and dedicated fire-fighting health experts, she chose the public to protect the political agenda for the public,” the statement said. “For this, her goal is.”

“Susan Monarez is no longer the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,” HHS said. “We thank her for her dedicated service to the American people. The White House did not respond to Fox News Digital’s inquiries about the matter.

Her resume on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website notes that she is committed to “leadership efforts to enhance biomedical innovation in the United States, including combating antibiotic resistance, expanding the use of wearable devices to promote patient health, ensuring privacy of personal health data and improving the readiness of the pandemic.”
