After a multi-state lawsuit against Donald Trump’s sudden decision to freeze more than $6.8 billion in education funds, Trump administration Funding for a range of educational services has been agreed to resume, including after-school and summer learning, teacher training and support for English learners.
The administration has not clearly explained why the funds allocated by Congress were kept, although a spokesman for the White House Office of Management and Budget stated that the review found instances of reviews that federal education funds “a serious abuse to subsidize the radical left agenda.”

The delayed funds were frozen weeks before the start of this year’s school year, leaving many communities and school districts uncertain whether they can maintain plans. According to the nonprofit After School Alliance, approximately 1.4 million children nationwide participated in funding for classes and other programs. Most programs benefit low-income families.
The funds also cover programs to retain teachers, especially in low-income school districts.
Since taking office, Donald Trump has been pushing for reshaping public education in the United States to adapt more closely to his right-wing political and social beliefs.
He has repeatedly threatened to deduct federal funds from states to allow transgender athletes to participate in sports. It also threatens or Cancel Gender involves people who mention transgender people from educational materials.
The government has also prompted states to cancel discounted domestic tuition fees reserved for immigrant students and state residents.
