Delta airline and United Airlines A group of passengers sued, claiming they spent extra money to sit in “window” seats that weren’t actually seats next to the window.
The proposed class action lawsuit was filed against Manchester United San Francisco Federal Court, Against Delta BrooklynNew York, federal court, seeks millions of dollars in losses among a million passengers per airline.
The complaint says some Boeing 737, Boeing 757 and Airbus A321 aircraft are usually next to windows, but lack seats due to the placement of air conditioning tubes, electric conduits or other components.
Unlike competitors such as Alaska Airlines and American Airlines, Delta and Manchester United did not mark the seats not be next to the windows during the booking process, the lawsuit said. Neither Delta nor Manchester United responded to Reuters’ request for comment.
