MTV is preparing for the biggest night of the year: 2025 Video Music Awards.
This year’s event is expected to be a night to remember, famous name Music nominated for multiple awardsinclude Lady Gaga,,,,, Bruno Mars,,,,, Ariana Grande,,,,, Kendrick Lamar and Sabrina Carpenter. The 2025 awards ceremony also includes two new categories: Best Country and Best Pop Artist.

When is VMA in 2025?
The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards will be broadcast live on Sunday, September 7 at 8 pm ET. Red carpet coverage expected to air in the evening.

Fans can vote by visiting coper.mtv.com on Friday, September 5 at 6 p.m. ET. Voting for the best new artist will remain active during live performances. Meanwhile, the annual song will narrow down to six nominees on Monday, August 18 at 12 p.m. EST at 12 p.m. EST, with the vote continuing until September 5 in other categories.
Fans can use artist-specific hashtags to comment on @VMAS Instagram on Friday, August 8 at 6pm ET to get additional votes for Video of the Year, Artist of the Year and Best New Artist. When it comes to Bacardi’s electricity, they can get twice the votes a day every day, from Thursday, August 7 to Thursday, September 4, from 1pm to 2pm every day.

The rapper previously hosted the show in 2022 Jack Harlow and Nicki Minajbut this year’s ceremony will mark his first solo commander’s duty. (He also received Grammy Awards for five consecutive years from 2012 to 2016.)
LL Cool J is the VMA champion who brought back his First Moon Man in 1991 and became the first rapper to win the Video Pioneer Award in 1997.
