Former Bayern Munich striker Thomas Müller is joining White people in Vancouver It can be said to be the largest signing in the club’s history.
Mueller, he won the World Cup Germany In 2014, WhiteCaps will be added for the rest of the season. Transaction terms have not been published. It includes an option to make Müller the designated player for 2026.
“White – Let’s Make History,” Mueller said in a video posted online on Wednesday. This shows that he took apart the Vancouver jersey.
The 35-year-old Müller spent the past 17 years with Bayern Munich in the German Bundesliga, during which he helped the club win 13 league titles and 33 overall titles. In all games, he scored 250 goals in Bayern’s 756 games, but his contract was not renewed after last season.
Mueller scored five goals in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. He also scored five goals in South Africa’s 2010 World Cup football match and won the Golden Boot Award.
Müller’s final against Bayern was played at the club’s World Cup this summer, losing 2-0 to Atlanta’s Paris Saint-Germain in the quarterfinals. He competed in late substitution.
Müller joined the 10-year-old Bayern’s Academy in 2000. He made his debut in 2008 under Jürgen Klinsmann, and his breakthrough comes next season under Louis van Gaal.
The club announced in a joint statement in April that it would be his last season. Mueller said in an article on social media that he understood Bayern’s decision “even if it doesn’t reflect my personal wishes.”
“Thomas Müller is the definition of Bavaria’s fairy tale career; he grew up in Bavaria and Bavaria,” said club president Herbert Hainer. “No one has won more Bundesliga titles and so far there are 33 trophies. He is among the most outstanding figures in FC Bayern history.”

Mueller retired from international football after last year’s European Championship, scoring 45 goals in 131 matches in Germany.
Whitecaps got Müller’s MLS Cincinnati Football Club’s right to discover in exchange for up to $400,000 in general allocated funds to complete the signature. He will occupy the international roster.
“Thomas is a natural leader and his passion for gaming is infectious. This is a statement signed by our club and our ownership – a transformative moment for our club and our city,” Axel Schuster, director and CEO of Vancouver Axel Schuster said in a statement.
Mueller will arrive in Vancouver next week. His first practice and introductory press conference at the club is scheduled for Thursday.
“They (fans) can expect me to always be 100%. You can watch my skills on YouTube videos or a few TV shows, but you can expect me to like it completely. That’s the most important part for me.”
