Queen of Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone won a 400m victory in US track and field competition on Saturday to book her place in the world sports Champion, barely missed the U.S. record in her underdog event.

“It just needs representation,” McLaughlin-Levrone told reporters. “Of course, everyone is talking about American records, but that will come when it comes. I think this year and this event have taught me patience. I’ve learned a lot about myself, learned a lot about 400.”
Isabella Whittaker hits 49.59, while Aaliyah Butler ranked third (49.91).
The 25-year-old McLaughlin-Levrone, a world record holder of 400 million obstacles, won a 400m spot in the World Track and Field Championships in Tokyo in September.
Jacory Patterson started the season without a sponsor and working for UPS, winning the 444.16 man 400m from the gun and winning the man’s vote and hitting his vote, while Chris Bailey finished second with a 44.43 and Khaleb McRae ranked third in 44.45.
“I’m waiting for someone to pinch me,” Patterson said. “It feels like a dream, it’s hard to talk.”
Patterson’s victory came after the 25-year-old spent a breakout season working and training for UPS overnight last year. He won the Grand Slam in Miami in May, won other lucrative parties with a quick 43.98, and reached a sponsorship deal with Nike.
“This work will still be put into it, I won’t feel comfortable or complacent, the goal is the same, that is to go to the world and medals,” he said.
Paris Olympic champion Masai Russell broke off the field and won the women’s 100 million obstacle with 12.22, Grace Stark finished second in 12.31, while Alaysha Johnson ranked second (12.36).
Nikki Hiltz rushed past Sinclaire Johnson to win the Women’s 1,500m 4:03.15, while Johnson passed second place 4:03.77.
Jonah Koech surpassed Ethan Strand and Cole Hocker to win the man’s 1,500 in 3:30.17. Strand (3:30:25) and Hocker (3:30.37) ranked second and third respectively.
Reggie Jagers threw $6.685 billion to win the men’s discus, while Chase Jackson won the women’s shot with a 2.084 million throw, while Jasmine Moore jumped 14.68 million to win the women’s triple jump.
