These Samsung smartphones got a price cut in India – NEW DELHI: The festive season is round the corner and the smartphone makers are trying to make the most of it. So, in case you are planning to buy a budget smartphone from Samsung then here’s some good news for you. The company has temporarily slashed the prices of its budget smartphones.
According to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom the Samsung Galaxy J6, Galaxy J4, Galaxy J2 and Galaxy J2 Core have got a temporary price cut. The company will be selling all these smartphones at a lower price tag till November 15.
The Samsung Galaxy J6 which was launched at Rs 13,990 is now selling at Rs 11,490 after the price cut. The 4GB RAM version which came at a price of Rs 16,490 also got a price drop and it can now be purchased at Rs 12,990. The smartphone comes with a 5.6-inch HD+ display and runs Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. The device is powered by company’s own Exynos 7870 processor and offers a 13MP rear and 8MP front facing camera. The smartphone comes in two storage version — 32GB and 64GB and is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy J4 was launched at Rs 9,990 in the country and after the price cut it is available at Rs 8,250. The smartphone is also powered by Exynos processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB internal storage which can be expanded further by adding a microSD card. The deice features a 5.5-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixel resolution and sports a 13MP primary and 5MP secondary camera. The device packs a 3,000 mAh battery and offers all the essential connectivity options.
The 2018 edition of the Samsung Galaxy J2 has also got a price drop. The company launched the device at Rs 8,190 and it is now available at Rs 6,990. Running Android Nougat (upgradable to Oreo), the handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor. The smartphone offers 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be expanded by installing a microSD card. The smartphone comes with a 5-inch qHD display and houses a 2,600 mAh battery.
Lastly, the Android Go smartphone launched by Samsung has also got a price cut. The company launched the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core at Rs 6,190 and the smartphone is now selling at Rs 5,990. The smartphone sports a 5-inch qHD display and is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 7570 processor. The device runs Android Oreo Go edition and offers 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage (expandable via microSD card). The smartphone boasts of an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter for selfies.
