JNU students Kanhaiya Kumar, Umar Khalid ask Delhi Police for security
New Delhi: Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNU) president Kanhaiya Kumar and his school mate Umar Khalid has drawn nearer the Delhi Police for security, a media report said on Friday.
Kanhaiya and Khalid have drawn nearer the police for their security, India Today reported.
Kumar has as of late courted crisp contention over his Facebook post with respect to the 1984 hostile to Sikh riots.
He had purportedly said there was a contrast between the 2002 Gujarat riots and the 1984 Sikh slaughter.
However with all due respect, Kumar said he was confounded.
In his Facebook post he purportedly composed, that the counter Sikh uproar was a “horde drove slaughter” while the 2002 Gujarat mob was a “state-supported brutality.”
Kumar has been stuck in an unfortunate situation since he was captured in a rebellion body of evidence over an occasion against the hanging of Parliament assault convict Afzal Guru.
