Babloo Martin a Football Player dies while saving girl’s life in Maihar building collapse

A samaritan lost his life while trying to save a girl from building collapse in Maihar in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh.
Seven persons were killed in the incident that occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning when the three-storey house built by MP Housing Board collapsed in Rahatgarh area of Sagar district following incessant rains.

When Bablu, a local football player, witnessed the collapsing building, he immediately rushed to save the trapped victims. But he himself got trapped under the debris after pushing a girl to safety. He managed to save the life of the 12-year-old girl, identified as Prabha, a daughter of a security guard.

Trapped under the debris, he got numb and could not utter a word. He was breathing when he was rescued out only after an hour.

Bablu was immediately rushed to the local hospital, where he was referred for treatment at Satna district hospital as his condition was critical. But unfortunately, Bablu succumbed to his injuries on the way to Satna hospital.
